The Gold Coast looks like it will be having quite a mild winter this year – the water is still warm enough to swim in and the days are short-sleeve shirt worthy.
If things do take a chilly turn however, there is still plenty to do around the Coast. We’ve listed a few of our favourite activities below:
- Take a drive to Mt Tamborine – there are plenty of shops to explore not to mention wineries, a brewery and lots of beautiful natural attractions.
- Head to a theme park – when you’re flying through the air on a roller coaster, it doesn’t really matter whether it’s cold or not. Visit Dreamworld, Seaworld or Movie World for a fun day out.
- Explore Pacific Fair – have you seen the five-star shopping centre lately? It’s absolutely beautiful with plenty of new stores, the largest cinema in the state lots to keep the kids entertained.
